In 2023, aged 27, Beth became the Chief Executive Officer of Feeling Strong, Dundee’s youth mental health charity. After guiding the charity through a period of transition, she can be credited with creating a culture of trust, creativity, skill and opportunity, enacting their strategy, and building strong relationships and partnerships. Since then, their work has been recognised by three award nominations: SCVO Scottish Charity Awards, Developing the Young Workforce Tay Cities Awards, and The ALLIANCE Self-Management Awards. Beth was included on The Young Women's Movement #30Under30 2024 list.

Beth completed her Masters, ‘MSc Inclusive Education’, after receiving a scholarship from the University of Edinburgh. This followed a First Class degree from the University of Cumbria, ‘BA(Hons) with Qualified Teacher Status, Primary Education with Inclusion/ Special Educational Needs’.

In previous charity roles, Beth has worked with BBC Children in Need, appearing on the ‘Great SPOTacular Appeal Night’ campaign film, The Children and Young People’s Commissioner, and NHS Scotland. Beth is also published through a casestory for a book ‘Play and Health in Childhood: A Rights-based Approach’, and appears on the ALLIANCE Digital Gathering Podcast ‘How does play support children and young people’s wellbeing?

In her spare time, Beth enjoys exploring Scotland with her golden retriever, Atlas, reading books, and swimming.
