Catriona has worked on a number of assignments from 3rd sector to public sector appointments at a senior level through to difficult to fill appointments within specific sectors. She has also appointed a number of the Chief Executive appointments into local and national charitable organisations.  She has a very good understanding of the challenges the sector faces and also the ambitions of the sector.

Debbie Shields

Associate Director

Debbie is a key member of the Charity and 3rd sector Executive Search team here at Aspen, and is a highly experienced recruiter with many years experience covering various sectors at a senior level.  Having worked in the 3rd sector for a number of years before joining the world of recruitment, She has a particular interest in the sector and has worked with all shapes and sizes of charities and non profit organisations on Senior Management, Board and leadership level positions.  Still very active in the sector, Debbie maintains a vast network and is Vice President of membership organisation - Scottish Women in Business, Chair of SAY Women, a charity that works with female survivors of childhood sexual abuse and a Member of ACOSVO’s Chair’s network.
