Development Manager

 

Phili started with ACOSVO in 2016 and has a 16 year background in the voluntary sector. She previously worked as a Fundraising Manager for a small Edinburgh based care charity and in a Third Sector Interface where she represented and advised voluntary and community groups. Phili supported organisations with idea and income generation, project management and evaluation, events and communications. Previous to that, she worked many years in the private sector within client relationship management, marketing and research.

As Development Manager, Phili leads and delivers ACOSVO membership support services to offer a package of attractive membership offerings and benefits, including the Leadership Exchange, Mentoring, First Year in Post and Interim Executive Services. She also leads the development of Chairs Network Scotland, specifically supporting the needs, and champions the role, of Chairs and Vice-Chairs in the voluntary sector. She is an active member of Scotland’s Third Sector Governance Forum which focuses on improving governance and leadership throughout the sector.

Phili manages various new ACOSVO projects, provides 1:1 member support, stakeholder engagement and wider networking to continually develop collaborative relationships cross sector. She represents ACOSVO at events and delivers presentations raising awareness of ACOSVO support to voluntary sector leaders throughout the various stages of their leadership journey.

Phili is married and has 2 teenage boys. She loves exploring the outdoors, and after a year of worldwide travel some time ago, now enjoys spending her free time socialising, cycling, hillwalking, camping and beachcombing around the UK.
